On Thursday, June 5th, Luxembourg’s HR and legal community came together for a highly practical event focused on navigating the legal and organizational challenges surrounding sick leave.
In partnership with AmCham, A&O Shearman’s employment law specialists addressed the impacts of illness during probation, strategies to prevent abuse, and real-life case studies illustrating interactions between employers and the CNS.
Participants also delved into the legal framework surrounding absenteeism. The conversations proved especially enriching, fueled by practical feedback and innovative solutions to tackle current social challenges and concluded on our rooftop terrace, where conversations continued in a relaxed setting.
