The AMCHAM team and I are tired of winter weather and ready to have a party! If you feel the same way, please register below and join us for our second annual Carnival dance party on Friday evening, 1 March at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Dommeldange. Our dress code is Tuxedo/Fancy Dress, All Black or Costumes. We will start with a Champagne cocktail networking party, followed by a special all-you-can-eat Buffet dinner with lots of drinking and dancing to the live music of Marco Boesen and his cruise ship team. Intervals are accompanied by Marcello by Goeres ice cream and as many fun photos you and your team want to have thanks to Le Photobooth.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of a secret company (to be shared later!) we are able the offer you a really special evening of fun for 100 euro per person for AMCHAM members and our partners (including free parking!), with just a bit higher price for non-affiliated attendees. As a special gesture, the Hilton is joining us by offering our guests a double room with breakfast in the morning and free parking overnight for only 95 Euro. Soon thereafter we will join with PwC and Baker McKenzie on 8 March in the mid-morning to celebrate International Women’s Day. This will be our seventh year honoring women with a special panel of leaders sharing their stories, advice and networking together. Please pay attention to the event announcement later on in this Newsletter and register to join us for this free event. I am well pleased with our feature interview article this week! At AMCHAM we spend a lot of time thinking about and advocating to ensure a good business environment for our companies here in Luxembourg, with special attention focused on advocating with the government to reduce administrative burdens and keep taxes attractive. But we are likewise well aware of the crucial role that leadership including soft skill competencies play to ensure the success and happiness of our people and our companies.
