The AmCham Real Estate Committee, chaired by Mario Di Stefano, had the pleasure this week of discovering the Rout Lëns urban redevelopment project in Esch-sur-Alzette, hosted by IKO.
During a guided tour led by the IKO team, committee members and invited industry leaders gained valuable insight into this ambitious and sustainable neighborhood transformation. Rout Lëns is set to become a benchmark for urban planning in Luxembourg, combining architectural heritage, environmental innovation, and high-quality residential and commercial development. The district will feature over 1,400 housing units and integrate geothermal energy, extensive green spaces, and sustainable mobility solutions. It also preserves and reimagines key heritage sites.
We extend our sincere thanks to the IKO team for their warm hospitality and inspiring presentations, and to all participants for contributing to the success of this visit.
