Running – a habit you can’t live without?
Absolutely. I get a lot out of it, both physically and mentally. It’s a sport that requires little equipment, there are no tricks, as performance almost entirely depends on oneself. You are your own competition, so it’s an opportunity to challenge and exceed yourself. It allows you to work on your resilience and perseverance, and when you think you’ve reached your limits, you realize that there’s still so much more to accomplish. It’s a feeling that I really enjoy and gives me the momentum to go further, with the certainty that there’s always room for improvement.
One might think that it’s an individual sport, but not for you!
In my practice of running, it’s an opportunity to meet people and create memories together by sharing unique and intense experiences. In 2017, I founded the group of runners FatBettyRun with three friends. Since then, we’ve been meeting every Thursday for a 5 km and 10 km run through the city of Luxembourg. This weekly meeting is an opportunity to meet and bring together people from different backgrounds by building connections around a common passion. The atmosphere is friendly, fun, and all initiated runners are welcome.

Running a marathon, much like ensuring the longevity of a business, requires discipline.
Of course, whether in running or in the business world, discipline is essential to maintain the right pace and to evolve in the best possible way. In both cases, it is essential to maintain a long-term vision and to focus on the quality of one’s services. Running a business on a daily basis is a long-distance race, not a sprint. It requires perseverance and rigour to ensure the success of its projects.
