Chairman’s remarks, 8 July
Dear AMCHAM members and friends,
Welcome to the 8 July 2021 edition of your AMCHAM Newsletter.
Everyone we talk to tells us how overjoyed they are to be able to again have drinks or a meal with colleagues and friends on terraces and in restaurants. This is a very wonderfully welcome after the period of confinement which has been so necessary to prevent the spread of Covid infection.
For many of our colleagues in the AMCHAM community, there has been absolute delight to be able to return to the gracious, comfortable and welcoming premises of Cercle Munster private club.
We like Cercle Munster a lot and have often used it for special events and our monthly lunches. We are pleased by the quality environment, good food and especially thankful for the friendship and fabulous service from all of their staff!
On that basis, we thought many of you might be interested to know the Covid impact on this establishment and reached out, offering Cercle Munster an interview, so they can tell their story on the Covid impact and their plans for relaunching themselves.
We are pleased by their positive response and delighted to present our interview with Max Von Hochberg, the Cercle Munster General Manager … and we likewise appreciate the Chef at Cercle Munster also sharing a recipe with us to feature this week in Paul’s Recipes! Enjoy reading!
As we move into the summer holiday period, we hope that those of you traveling have a wonderful, well deserved break….and that you stay safe.
We encourage you to have membership in Luxembourg Air Rescue and the Automobile Club of Luxembourg in order to have their help when you need it. Please take a look at the two following links below for further details.
We are likewise pleased, as every week, to have an exclusive article from our partner LuxTimes which, we are sure, you will enjoy.
Please share this Newsletter with all of your colleagues and friends… and we encourage and appreciate you introducing us to any companies who you think would benefit from AMCHAM membership.
During the coming Summer Holiday break, we will reduce our publication frequency to reflect the overall reduction of activities. But we will keep track of what is going on and let you know quickly if there is critical news which needs to be passed.
Enjoy your Summer!
With respect and best wishes,
Paul Michael Schonenberg
