Dear AMCHAM members and friends,
Welcome to the 1 July 2021 edition of your AMCHAM Newsletter.
We are devoting this issue to completely explaining our AMCHAM Member Benefits Club (MBC) project’s goals, current outcomes, and future plans. We’ are delighted to explain to you why we have been striving to complete this project, update you on our progress, and introduce the second phase of the project, which we’ll be working on in the fall.
This MBC project is a true labor of love for us because it has provided us with a public service opportunity to assist retailers in relaunching with more customer traffic following Covid, to assist our member companies thank their employees for all they have done to support their employers during this crisis, and to assist individual employees (and their partners and spouses) by increasing their spending power from their current salary! Our goal has been to reach an agreement that benefits all three parties. We hope many more of you will enjoy our initiative and will join us as MBC members, as well as assist us in identifying new good retailers to join as partner providers.
We also use this opportunity to announce our annual Board meeting and General Assembly on July 6th, as well as our end-of-July Tax event with our LACCNYC partners in New York…
It’s also my pleasure to present you our colleague Sonja Holper’s husband, Theo, who is retired, a proud former volunteer firefighter in Luxembourg and a fantastic BBQ chef with a loyal local following. We asked Theo if he would lead us through the process of creating an outstanding grilled steak with fixings, suitable for an out-of-door lunch with family and friends, given the current high temperatures. Take a look at the images and prepare the lunch yourself… You’ll be happy you did.
We appreciate you sharing this newsletter with all of your coworkers and friends… We also urge and appreciate you introducing us to any businesses that you believe will benefit from AMCHAM membership.
We likely will reduce our publication frequency during the upcoming Summer Holiday break to reflect the overall decline in activities. However, we will maintain track of events and notify you as soon as vital information becomes available.
