In the earlier article published in this week’s AMCHAM Newsletter, we have explained our objectives for creating the AMCHAM Member Benefits Club (MBC program):
- To help retailers gain business,
- Employers to reward their good employees for their hard work and sacrifices during the pandemic period,
- AMCHAM affiliated employees themselves by giving them more value for their salaries.
With almost 800 cards delivered to our members and over 150 participating retail partners throughout the Grand Region, we are off to a good start.
Just as a reminder, we are also happy to sell MBC cards to spouses and partners of AMCHAM affiliated people for 10 Euro a piece!
I am also pleased to announce that we are working on a new feature which will make the MBC even more attractive to our members and their partner’s/spouses…. This will be the launching in the Fall of our Digital Library learning resource.
For some time, we have been concerned over the inefficiency, high cost and lack of accommodation to customer needs for established training/professional development programs in Luxembourg. We have noticed that most training is done face to face during normal working hours, at high cost to the student and with no flexibility to accommodate students. In today’s environment, it is very difficult for working professionals to accommodate and align these professional offerings with their personal professional needs. It is also difficult for both companies and individuals to bear the high cost of this training.
On this basis, AMCHAM has been developing a digital solution… a digital AMCHAM library of content which will provide 100% of its digital content for free to AMCHAM MBC holders, at no additional costs. As a first step, we will put our 8-hr. comprehensive ‘How the AMCHAM Financial Sector Works’ training program into this library, alongside the content from the digital events we have recorded during this pandemic. Likewise, we will add the Doing Business in Luxembourg book content in several languages, our Language of Luxembourg course material and additional high quality, low-cost training offerings in the future as well.
We are additionally gratified that we are able to ensure all of this material will be available 24/7 to optimally fit the needs of our customers… and 100% free to all AMCHAM MBC members.
