Welcome to the last AmCham Newsletter of 2025! It has been a pleasure to serve and support you this year. Together, we have made a difference moving Luxembourg in a positive successful direction that ensures business and personal success for our members and the broader Luxembourg society.
Next year, AmCham Luxembourg will celebrate 30 years of existence and service in Luxembourg! We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you all at events throughout the year.
At the top of our agenda this week please find and enjoy our introduction video introducing and highlighting the exciting expansion of our AmCham Member Benefits Club (MBC) which we will launch early in 2026 via the introduction of a digital telephone application to replace our current plastic MBC cards. Our second feature news story is the summary and photo gallery related to our third Transatlantic Trade and Investment event wonderfully hosted by Deloitte at their head office in Cloche d’Or. This fully booked event started with warm introductory remarks from John Psaila the Deloitte Managing Director, followed by a powerful speech by US Ambassador Stacey Feinberg and a video greeting from Luxembourg Ambassador to the USA Nicole Bintner.
Thibaut l’Ortye, the Senior Director of Public Affairs from our partner AmCham EU then presented and explained all of the details of the enormously economic success story of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership which has created and drives the economic prosperity of our western democracies on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. This 9.5 trillion-dollar economic partnership has been and remains the key to the economic prosperity of Europe, Canada and America. You can find a digital copy of the 2025 report prepared under AmCham EU leadership (with AmCham Luxembourg being one of the seven AmChams in Europe who co-sponsor this John Hopkins University study every year). Yesterday was our last event of this year, a delightful day of art, eggnog and friendship with over 100 of you all in the presence of the art of Jacques Schneider at his Gallery in Berchem. My thanks to Jacques for his warm hospitality and to The Little Bakeshop and a real Italian Barista Vitalenta.
