I know we had said last week that we were closing down for a Summer break… But, we have had so many questions about “this and that” we decided we had not had a “clean” finish before the Summer break. Hence this issue today, which I really do promise will be our last until we start again back in business in September. Thanks for understanding!

Our lead photo comes from our recent Saturday Ukrainian newcomer orientation course. We are very pleased we have been able to welcome and present this free orientation program to over 500 Ukrainian displaced persons. I assure you this has been a real labor of love. This past Friday, we have relaunched, after a two-year pause, our Connexion magazine! We are very proud of this relaunch and hope you all will enjoy it.
Luxembourg was celebrating its National day with a spectacular fireworks display. HSBC’s new CEO Emanuele Vignoli hosted an event in their offices, with special guests!. From their top floor we had a sensational view of the city and of the fireworks. Enjoy the photos.

The US embassy has very kindly provided us with photos and text describing the excellent 4th of July which took place a bit early last week. Ambassador Barrett gave a great speech, and you can see from the photos that everyone had a great time. I personally very much enjoyed the networking, interaction with the Ambassador, chance to say goodbye to Casey Mace and his wife, and the chance to meet and have a talk with our new Deputy Chief of Mission.
