The Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg elected on Tuesday, 23rd September 2025, during its General Assembly and Board of Directors meeting held at the Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg, its new President Tom Baumert, CEO of Luxembourg Confederation.
He succeeds Carlo Thelen, Director General of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, who has served as President of the Cluster with dedication and vision since 2014, making a decisive contribution to the promotion of the national logistics sector and to strengthening Luxembourg’s strategic role as a European hub. Tom Baumert will also serve as the new representative of the Chamber of Commerce on the Board of Directors, thereby continuing the strong link that unites the Cluster for Logistics with the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
With his experience and in-depth knowledge of economic and logistics issues, Tom Baumert aims to pursue and further strengthen the Cluster’s mission: to bring together industry players, support innovation, and promote Luxembourg’s competitiveness on the international stage.
On this occasion, the Cluster for Logistics, together with its Director Daniel Kohl, wishes to express its gratitude to Carlo Thelen for his leadership and considerable contribution, and extends its best wishes to Tom Baumert for success in his new responsibilities.
