The Marketing committee of AMCHAM Luxembourg is organizing the latest in the series of lunchtime workshops; following on from the success of previous such workshops addressing Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, the 4th in the series will address YouTube and video in general.

This event was originally scheduled to take place on 27 April during the Drone Event; due to feedback received, we have decided to split the event into two, the first aimed at those involved in marketing campaigns for companies and organizations and focusing more on strategy and approach, and the second more hands-on with experts advising on how to get the most out of your camera and video equipment.

- Wednesday 24 May 2017 @ 12:00 @ Hotel Parc Belair (111 Ave du X Septembre, Luxembourg-Belair): "YOUTUBE - The Revolution Continues..."

Troy Bankhead (Director of European Operations at Tecyte) and Cédric Delahaye (Marketing & Communications Manager at Elvinger Hoss Prussen) will share their experience on the platform and provide you with great tips on how to create and manage your own YouTube channel.

The workshop covered the following points:

· Technology: evolution over the past 10 years

· Budget: start with the right material

· Content: how to easily create videos that will help your business

· Quality: tips on creating a video with a professional look

· Promotion: maximize the reference of your video content

· Copyright: mistakes to avoid

· Conclusion: video is the new Social Media trend – What’s next for Gen Z?

- Thursday 1 June 2017 @ 12:00 @ Hotel Parc Belair (111 Ave du X Septembre, Luxembourg-Belair): “Photography & Videography, Getting your Cameras to Work for You”

This interactive workshop will feature Robin Jensen and Artur Kurkowiak who will share their knowledge and expertise with attendees, focusing on issues such as framing, depth, lighting and contrast, as well as video storyboarding, audio, voice-overs and B-roll, as well as IP issues. The second part will include the presenters providing hands-on guidance on how each attendee can get the best out of their fixed and video camera equipment.

The workshop will be split into the following parts:

· Tips & Techniques

 · Hands-on

These workshops are aimed at those active in Marketing, including both large and small organizations.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops, tablets and mobile devices for use during the workshops, as well as their own cameras and video cameras to the second event above.
