Description
In 2005, Skype's acquisition by eBay Inc. revealed to the world that Luxembourg has a serious competitive advantage for e-commerce businesses. Almost 5 years after this deal, where does the VoIP industry stand and is Luxembourg still attractive? Anne Murrath, PwC Tax partner, will summarize some of the reasons why telecom, internet and media companies should set-up in Luxembourg, today and tomorrow. IP-based communication will continue to grow further over the next few years, reaching out to both customers and businesses. Frank Weiler, responsible for the development of Managed Services for Enterprise customers at P&T Luxembourg, will tell us how businesses can benefit from voice and data convergence on a single IP network. VoIP is becoming more and more mainstream due to the proliferation of new and adapted devices as well as services. Jorge Marques, COO of voipGATE, will present how your business can leverage this communication technology in order to become more flexible and efficient in your communication.
